SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE “INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION FOR PEACE AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT”

As part of the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2026, the Scientific Conference themed “International Cooperation in Science, Technology and Innovation for Peace and Sustainable Development” will be held to provide a forum for discussion, experience sharing, and the promotion of international cooperation in the fields of science, technology and innovation.

The Conference will focus on discussions of technology groups of strategic importance to national defence, security, and socio-economic development, including:

Topic 1: Technologies for energy security;
Topic 2: Semiconductor chip technology, robotics, automation, and aerospace technology;
Topic 3: Biotechnology and environmental technologies; marine, oceanic and subsurface technologies; technologies for unexploded ordnance (UXO) clearance and the remediation of post-war chemical contamination;
Topic 4: Digital technologies and next-generation mobile communication technologies;
Topic 5: Advanced materials technologies, mineral processing, and deep processing of rare earth elements.

Through in-depth discussion sessions, the Conference will contribute to fostering knowledge exchange, sharing experiences, and expanding opportunities for international cooperation, with a view to advancing research, application, and mastery of advanced technologies, thereby serving the objectives of peace and sustainable development and strengthening Viet Nam’s science, technology and innovation capabilities.
