Ensuring Security and Safety for the Viet Nam Defence Expo 2024

(Communist Party of Vietnam) - Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan has instructed the Executive and Security Subcommittee to continue researching and refining optimal plans for coordinating forces, enhancing collaboration, and making the highest efforts to ensure the success of the Viet Nam Defence Expo 2024. This contributes to spreading the beautiful image of the country and the Vietnam People's Army.

Continuing the thorough preparation for the Viet Nam Defence Expo 2024, on the morning of May 4th, Senior Lieutenant General Phung Si Tan, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Head of the Exhibition Organizing Committee, worked with the Executive and Security Subcommittee.

According to reports, the Executive and Security Subcommittee has coordinated with subcommittees under the Organizing Committee to draft a readiness and protection plan for the exhibition activities. They have reviewed, adjusted, and supplemented the plan to align with the actual situation and the requirements of the Organizing Committee. They also coordinated with the Department of Foreign Affairs to train liaison officers and interpreters for the exhibition. Additionally, they urged and guided the Air Defence and Air Force to develop and adjust the flight plan to welcome the exhibition and assessed the rehearsal plan for the special forces' demonstration script serving the exhibition of the Commando Force and the Border Guard Command.

In the coming time, agencies, units, and subcommittee members will proactively and actively coordinate with relevant subcommittees and forces to build, complete, and seriously implement plans to achieve high results and ensure safety. This includes organizing surveys of the exhibition area, establishing regulations to ensure that the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, and the commanders of the participating forces follow the program and plans safely and correctly; participating in field surveys; and controlling security and safety in the exhibition areas and the accommodations of international delegations.
